Microdermabrasion Facial

Microdermabrasion is one of the most popular non-surgical skin resurfacing treatments. The expert exfoliating technique can banish common skin bugbears such as: Uneven pigmentation, Fine lines, Clogged pores, Enlarged pores, Post-acne marks, Uneven skin texture, Excessive oil & Dry skin

And that’s before we’ve touched on its ability to trigger increased levels of collagen and elastin (hello plump, firmer skin), it allows better absorption of skincare products (meaning better results) and the fact that it reveals newer, healthier cells, giving your face a super glow.

Overall, it’s a super-fast and non-invasive treatment, which means that there’s zero downtime, so you can fit it in during your lunch break and not have to worry about scaring anyone off with a redraw face.

How it works

The diamond-tipped wand glides over the skin with a vacuum action gently polishing the skin. The treatment is more gentle than traditional crystal methods as a selection of diamond tip wands are used to create a bespoke treatment for each client.

Diamond Tip Dermabrasion erases the epidermal layers at varying depths in a controlled manner, minimising skin trauma. It mechanically alters the epidermis and invigorates cell renewal to create a healthy balanced skin surface.

Microdermabrasion is a great add on to additional facials to help accelerate results.

Aftercare

After your microdermabrasion facial, we advise the following:

  1. Keep the skin cool and calm. The first 24 hours after your microdermabrasion are the most important when it comes to ensuring the best possible results.
  2. Don’t use any scrubs or exfoliators on the skin for a least 72 hours.
  3. Stay hydrated… drink plenty of water
  4. Don’t pick at your skin.
  5. Stay sun safe. Keep out of the sun for the first 48hrs and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more.
  6. No sunbeds for at least 72 hours.
